    Scaling recipe in beersmith. Grain went up but hops stayed the same. (question)

    I scaled my recipe from standard 5 gallon to 6 gallon to match my equipment. The grain went up but the hops stayed the same as a 5 gallon. Am i missing something? I'm kinda dumb with math. beersmith 3.0 (trial mode) btw

    When you cold crash, do you just leave the airlock as normal, or do you plug it?

    You won't taste the starsan. i've sucked like half a gallon (left blowoff tube in bucket) into a blond ale and siphoned off the top (starsan)... Didn't even notice.
