I scaled my recipe from standard 5 gallon to 6 gallon to match my equipment. The grain went up but the hops stayed the same as a 5 gallon. Am i missing something? I'm kinda dumb with math.

beersmith 3.0 (trial mode) btw

I have no idea about whether its glitch in Beersmith. Changing the volume of your batch would change the IBUs.

But you can change it manually - adjust the amount and timing of hops to match the IBUs you are targeting, plus whatever aroma and flavor hop character you want. No brewing software really tells you anything about that one, they just provide an estimate of the IBUs.

fwiw, out of curiosity I gave this a try using BS3 on my PC and doubling one of my 10 gallon batches and it did double everything including hops...

Cheers!
