Hard to explain this brain fart the last 3 brews but i've been using 400g DME per 2 liter water in my starter instead of 200g per 2 liter... I can only guess that would be around 1.075ish starter wort?

Anyways all 3 times the starter kicked off fast with lots of krausen (over flowed in flask 2 liter starters). Used 1056

2 times i decanted with a nice yeast cake and the other time pitched the entire 2 liter starter while active.

all 3 beers (IPA and Pale ales) came out pretty damn good with no off flavors and got them down to 1.010-1.012ish (no corn sugar).

I would think this would have stressed the yeast out but they did fine.

Thoughts?
