with 3 RIMS brews done I have a question. each time I have disassembled the RIMS tube, I have found burnt wort on one section of the tube(element side) in one area the length of the tube half, I assume this isn't normal? I notice no temp spikes and seem to have good flow through the tube...

posted this in the ECC forum but thought Id cover all my bases, trying to calibrate temp probes but 3/4 probes read 0? I have verified the integrity of the probes/cable/connection with a meter and have swapped probes around and still only one input on the BCS picks up temp? thanks for any help!

got the pre-assembled probes/cables from Derrin(BH), three wires in one cable how are they hooked to the BCS?
