Didn't make it to any of the shows. Did the couch tour and watched all but Sunday live. I was fried by Sunday and feel asleep by 7:30.

I've had both and it is well worth the extra $ and work for the tri clovers.

I don't think the basket is need. The watt density is so low on the boil coil that it won't burn the bag.

I have a 20 gallon kettle with 2 2000w elements running on 2 20 amp circuits and boil 7 gallons without a problem

I guess I was wrong. When I started brewing 15 or so years ago most people just dumped the dry yeast in. I have been happy with my beers that I used dry yeast on but will re hydrate from now on.
