    Rain barrell beer

    I made some beer this weekend from my rain barrel. Just poured it into pot boiled while I made beer. Just wondering if Anyone has tried this and with what kinds of results. I fig boiling for a hr would kill anything plus alcohol would help too

    priming sugar help

    i'm making a cream ale. . I use priming drops or keg. Well kegs are full and im out if drops. So i'm going to bottle using table sugar solution.     Stupid mistake - blowoff tube

    P 1st brew of the season everything goes well. Put my blow off tube into a jug. I forgot to fill it with water. I caught it the next morning maybe 10 hrs. I filled it, anyone think I'll have a contamination issue? Thanks

    carbing a keg, then letting it set

    my fridg only holds 2 kegs and i only have 1 tank and a manifold for 2 kegs. I do have another fridg i use for lagers. I brewed 3 batches . i want to keg 2 put then in my fridg and drink. For the 3rd keg could i carb it up,take it off the gas, and then stick it in the lager fridg to hang out...

    best way to pour choc.milk stoudt mixed with strawberry wheat

    i heard a brewerey served choc.coved starwberry beer. A mix between the choc. milk stoudt and strawberry wheat. Just put both in the keg and waiting to carb up. Just wondering if anyone knows the best way to pour it. i.e like a black n tan, or layer, just mix? thanks

    why r my bottles always over carbed

    i mostly keg only bottled like 4 times. 1st 2 times i measured and used priming sugar. Next 2 times i used coopers carb tablets. all sit at around 70 degree for two weeks then move to basement about 63 . Everytime time there undercarbed, then perfect the the next time a drink them about a week...

    traveling with keg

    headed to the beach and got 1/2 a keg left . Have a pocket co2 disp, for the gas. I was wondering the best way to keep it cool. it a 3 hr trip. lay it on it's side w some ice in a cooler?     When to switch to all grain

    I got about 15 brews all extract w/ spec. grains under my belt, and i'm debating all grain. How much more time is involed and equiptment. I have an outdoor burner w/ an 8g polar brew pot. with temp. and ball vaule.

    have a barley wine in secondary for about a month. starting to get white bublles sometimnes quarter sized on top. It has to sit in secondary for another 8 months. Should i dump it bottle it or just let it set

    low carb

    only the 2nd time i bottled i mostly keg. used 2/3 cup priming sugar for a 5g batch. Both times my carbonation was low. Any thing i can do to fix it besidses next time i bottle just add some more sugar? it's only been 2weeks since i bottled them

    I tried to use my keg as a secondary to free up my better bottles it went horribly wrong. I moved 2 weeks from primary to keg for 3 weeks dry hopped in keg last week then 30psi for 3 days.then back to 10psi.
