going to brew as we speak and i have no corn sugar in my kit and i need 15.oz. I got sent 15.oz of priming sugar instead of 5.oz for bottling. can i purchase corn sugar at a grocery store or do i need to go to a brew store

Corn sugar is not something you can buy at the supermarket. Just substitute white table sugar for the missing quantity.

corn sugar and table sugar = same thing pretty much, lots of people have used table sugar instead of dextrose myself included and see no difference.

As rweird said, priming sugar = corn sugar. AKA dextrose and glucose
Table sugar = sucrose (which is not quite the same thing), but is fine for priming. You need slightly less (10% less) table sugar for priming than you would corn sugar to get the same level of carbonation.

If you've got 15oz and need 5oz, I think you're all set. Just don't, you know, put it ALL in there.
