Blonde Ale Miller Lite (Really Triple Hopped)

I’ve been eyeing up this recipe for a while and decided to pull the trigger and get the ingredients. Here’s a problem. My LHBS carries briess only, mostly because they local. Anyway he said briess stopped production on 6row. He’s going to look into getting some from other companies. But if he...

1st attempt at creating a recipe. IPA

I was thinking 1/12 oz during the last during the boil may be a little much. Possibly dropping down to 1 oz of nugget and 1/2 oz of each maybe good. Leaving the dry hop as is

    Late extract addition

So if I do a lighter color ale this would be the way to do it, not so much for your porters of darker beers

    Late extract addition

I was look through some recipies that someone gave me, and all of them have you add a pound of dme after you steep, then you start a 60 min. Boil. When you get to the last 15min. You shut the heat off then add the rest of your extract, usually lme. Then finish the boil. What is the point of...

    Recarbing

I have more sediment than usual, probably close to a half inch. I was thinking bout slowly pouring into a bucket then siphon into the keg. They are in 22 oz bottles and a large flip top growler. But if It risk oxidation than I'll just keep them bottled. Thanks

    Recarbing

A few months ago I made a cranberry ale. I bottled with priming sugar and let them sit. I cold crashed a bottle and I have a lot of sediment on the bottom. I was wondering If I drain the bottles and get the sediment out, if I could re carb it in my keg. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

Nugget hops scent, and is this an ok way to store them

According to the nursery I got them from they are nugget, also I'm noticing the spicy herbal notes, but not sure why I'm getting a citrus note. I'll do a web search for all nugget recipes and pick up a ounce of nugget for the LHBS and compare. Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

Meh. Go nuts. But do let us know what you use to get all the resin out of whatever machine you use. I'm thinking paint thinner will work... Cheers! ;) Lol, that's a problem, but I got extra dishes :) Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

Nugget hops scent, and is this an ok way to store them

Would that cause a loss of bitterness or flavor doing that? I just did it thinking I could fit more in a vacuum bag Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

Nugget hops scent, and is this an ok way to store them

I just harvested some nuggets hops and dried them, I've never used nugget before and not sure what the scent is suppose to be. I'm getting a fruity citrus type smell. Can someone tell me if that's accurate for this type. Also I decided that I'd put some in a food processor and then vacuum seal...
