Bottled my lagunitas red IIPA clone last night, brewed a DFH 90 minute IPA clone today, drinking a Sierra Nevada torpedo and Widmer's Alchemy ale at the moment
Just bottled my first ever batch, sampled some and OHMYGOD it tastes like beer! Finished cleaning the carboy and have the second batch boiling. My LHBS compiled a Lagunitas-ish Red Ale clone extract recipe. Drinking Fat Tire while I wait, cheers! :mug:
Edit: Um... got a 1.092 starting gravity...
Sixty-One from Dogfish Head is very peculiar but fantastic... Balancing that out with some Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale, probably need a fork and knife for this brew. In a few weeks I'll be able to drink my first home brew, it's an IPA from an extract recipe
Luckily I had a good friend lend me his HB equip as he's moving to New Mexico... so start-up costs were minimal. My wife also enjoys beer as much as I do, win-win!
Brewing my very first ever batch. An IPA recipe found at Home Brew HQ in Richardson, Tx. Wort is boiling right now, drinking some Lagunitas IPA and celebrating a Rangers win in STL. Cheers! :mug:
