SURPRISE!!!!!

First of all, sorry this took so long. Got really busy and had to put this on the backburner. Anyhow, to make up for it, I'll probably allow more participants than usual! So anyway, lets send some local beer!!!! Ideally from super local (to you) breweries that don't distribute far. Pay close attention to the rules Please. D_Nyholm waited a looooooooong time for this round and I gave him input on the rules. So here you go man, this one is all for you!

Here are the rules for this round:
- Total volume minimum is 160 oz.
*within this 160 oz. you MUST include 5 different beer styles of different SRM, thus creating a rainbow of sorts, NOT using IPA's or Stouts. (For example: a cream ale, brown ale, red ale, pale ale, and porter) Must be beer your recipient cannot buy!

The remaining volume MUST be IPA's, DIPA's, and Stouts (any style stout).
- MUST BE BEER YOUR RECIPIENT CANNOT GET IN THEIR STATE!!! Use www.Seekabrew.com to know what is in their state (if seekabrew is incorrect, tough tootsies). The more local, the better!
- You are to ship your box BY May 23 (I will have you your address asap). The sooner this fills up, the sooner I have addresses to you.
- 100 post minimum to be eligible.

NEW MEMBER CLAUSE:
- I will allow 3 exemptions to this so as to allow some newer members entry. However, if you are one of the 3 under the 100 post minimum you will be expected to ship first. The member with your address will not ship until we have word that your package has landed safely. (If you are shipping to someone with over 100 posts you will ship as soon as you have your package ready, like normal)

The rest of the details:
When you post that you are in, PM me your address. This is very important so that I can get you addresses asap.

I do not have a cap on participant quantity yet. I'll probably just cap it off when I feel there is enough. Once I have a list of all participants I will then randomly select who ships beer to who. You won't necessarily be shipping to the person that is shipping to you. If two participants happen to be in the same area, ill adjust it to change that.

Once I have my list of who ships where, ill pm each person the address. Keep this secret, it'll make it more fun! You will then be expected to ship your beer, abiding by the rules above. Please pm me your tracking number when shipped. We will all post our awesome hauls when received and enjoy!

Also, don't forget to leave iTrader feedback.

The forum is not responsible for anyone that abuses this swap-o-rama, we all take equal risk in participating.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers!

WHO HA!!!!

Back in business!!

Count me in!

EDIT: Shouldn't IPA and Stout be part of the spectrum?

Blonde - Pale - IPA - Amber - Red - Brown - Porter - Stout

What volume does the "rainbow" beers have to be, not including stouts/ipas?

My box will be an array of different SRMS but might include more than one amber/blonde.....is this ok or 1 beer per "Rainbow" style

I wanted ipa and stout outside of the rainbow part because I wanted stouts and ipa to be a separate chunk of the swap. Thus increasing variety.

Bottle size has no requirement. If you want to do five bombers for that or just five 12 oz. Thats fine. Or even a mixture haha.

Also, one beer per rainbow style. Any more than this would be considered "extras". Aka, an extra amber ale is not an ipa or stout.

Essentially, two parts to the swap. The rainbow. Then all ipa and stouts to make up the remainder of the 160 oz. Anything outside that would be great as extras.

Also, my example was just me tossing a few examples...I didn't mean that it was the actual spectrum. You could technically use a belgian in place of some other lighter colored ale.

Would a Belgian Pale and regular Pale only satisfy one of the SRM requirements?

Is a date set that we will receive our recipient? I don't want to start shopping just in case my recipient can get certain goodies.

Sent from Cheese Doodle Land.

No date set yet. When I feel we have enough...if people are still joining and I got 20, ill keep allowing. So its best to just wait to shop.

The goal for that portion is ultimately variety. I would like everyone to try their best for 5 beers of pretty different srm. Shouldn't be too hard.

I doubt anyone would have a problem if they didnt get five different srm beers, but I think the added challenge makes it a bit more fun. So lets just do our best.

Awesome, clarifys a lot. THX!
So were making our own 5 color spectrum and filling the rest with IPA and Stout.

Great idea on the color spectrum, who said that again!?! :cross:

Might want to put the bolds in the first post.

Cheers! Looking forward to seeing the bombs that get dropped this round!

I'm going to sit this one out, too many guidelines for my taste, but i am subscribing to wait for the next one
