It looks like Goose isn't going to let COVID stop Stoutest in 2021. The email I just got is a little thin on details: two days, March 21 and 28 and "as always, we will be taking safety precautions extremely seriously for tastings and following all CDPH and state guidelines."
I didn't realize that there was a category under CDPH and IDPH guidelines governing nut-to-butt gatherings of neckbeards. Unless this event is being held outside (and maybe it is?), I don't understand how anyone thinks this is a good idea. I could see a tasting event at a cavernous space like Rev, or maybe at Goose's barrel-aging complex, feeling safer but an indoor event at Clybourn? Why not delay it until the fall?
