Found a good used fridge on Craigslist's last night.. bought it, cleaned it up today and turned it into the "sour cellar". Lots of room to grow!

You are me. We are the same. Srs? Wanna make a last longer bet or something? Was thinking of making it my New Years Resolution.
On-tap beers at bars/pubs/breweries wouldnt count.
Thoughts?
I'm almost in. What about my RS membership?
Those are already purchased (in 2013). I also decided growlers of Nelson would be acceptable lol. We dont have to bet anything? But im really going to try.
Maybe I'll even be able to treat you to a Milton's Super Reuben or something crazy like that! Won't even go Dutch! You are going to be sofa king rich at the end of next year
disregard beer, acquire currency
At the beginning of the year I purchased a Vinotemp wine cellar for $300. I did a lot of contemplation and research on the subject of cellaring beer sideways and such… and after some debates on BA and with other people who cellar, I found no scientific evidence for upright versus sideways. And most everything I hear from beer cellar peeps is speculation about leaks, rust, sediment… As far as I can tell, over the past year or so, is that if I want to a share a beer that I am worried about sediment being on the side of the bottle is that I have to put it upright for 24 hours or so before I drink it. Beers that I am especially concerned with this are lambics and most sours, which also means I need a limbic basket … Otherwise I am very happy with my $300 purchase, especially since they run $3000+… I see them still occasionally on craigslist. Cheers!
Are you the guy who was asking about this on BA (or something) earlier? I remember being super jealous when you got it, that thing for $300 is such a steal. I could fit my entire cellar in there easily...I forgot to mention that box is 2 bottles deep and holds 360 bottles standard.
So I got bored and built a fort after I re-inventoried everything in anticipation of building shelves in January. Can't wait to unbox everything.
Looking for a roommate?

Me:
Bought a freezerless fridge, set it to 52F with this:
http://www.amazon.com/Johnson-Controls-Digital-Thermostat-Control/dp/B00368D6JA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1380777902&sr=8-3&keywords=johnson controls temperature controller
The probe is inside a bottle filled with water and 2oz Isopropyl Alcohol.
It's been working awesome.
Craigslist, buy a fridge and temp controller. Should be able to do it for $300. Prices increase as you get "fancier" with the fridge.Anyone have any recommendations for wine/beer fridges. somewhere in the 500-1500$ price range
old post I know....but nice to know that if I take too much money from you playing cards that you can pay out in booze.
OK, it feels good to have never contributed these to BA, but whip them out to BT within a month of joining. I have another fridge or two I don't have pics of, and a few more wine racks.
I'll get them uploaded next time I have a really slow Friday like today.

Beer Cellar DIY tip #1: recycling wine barrel rings.
Space under the stairs. Stretches to the left about 2 more studs. Going to outfit with a reading lamp and a recliner. Man cave within the man cave. Oh yeah...
If this were my house, I'd never leave this room!Operation "Captain Man Cave" done (for today). Last touch will be a drop lamp, bluetooth speakers and a feng shui desk waterfall feature to kick up the humidity a notch (Colorado dry). V2 will include buttoning up the gaps to bring the temp down a few degrees and ventilation so I can light up a stoagie at my leisure. Oh, and I included on Schlitz clock mirror (not pictured) I just found on craigslist for $40 (steal).
Catharsis at its finest.
I just need to build in a drawer to keep a supply of fresh boxers and maybe retro-fit the Adirondack into a multi-functional toilet lounger. If this were my house, I'd never leave this room!
