Fitting for 55 gallon plastic conical

That should be an NPT female in the bottom. You can thread any NPT fitting you want. Stainless, brass, etc. You can also add a bulkhead higher on the cone portion like a typical conical fermenter.

Top 5 things I wish I knew when I first started homebrewing.

Water chemistry made the biggest improvement in my brewing. Especially on the light stuff which don't have an excess of flavors to hide behind.

Anyone using two 3/8" immersion chillers?

That's what I have. Two cold lines in, two hot lines out. Combined with whirlpooling with a pump it gets the wort below 80° in less than 15 minutes.

    BG10 - Flame under burner

I have the same burner. It's a pretty sloppy hole on the bottom. I've never noticed but I bet mine does the same. I would try putting a stainless washer inside the burner to cover the sloppy hole. I wouldn't recommend a galvanized washer, it might off gas something nasty due to the heat.

    Ferm heater

I tape it directly to the fermenter, it doesn't wrap all the way around which leaves a space for my temp probe.

    Ferm heater

11" flex watt heat tape. It's typically used to heat reptile tanks. I've got 2 feet and has no problem keeping 5 gallons at 75* in a mini fridge.

    QD Considerations

I recommend cam locks. And yes females on the hoses is pretty standard. When it comes to storage just hang them on the wall and let them drip dry.
