Hi everyone,
Looking for some help with finding fittings for the bottom of a 55 gallon plastic conical fermenter made by ace roto mold. Would like to find something suitable for collecting yeast safely. As you can see I've currently got a 90* elbow and a plastic ball valve that is definitely unsuitable for use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

That should be an NPT female in the bottom. You can thread any NPT fitting you want. Stainless, brass, etc. You can also add a bulkhead higher on the cone portion like a typical conical fermenter.

Look up "yeast catcher" in the DIY forum. Lots of info there.
