I have done two two ten gallon batches now, the same recipe both times. I have also done the same recipe in 5 gallon batchs. The efficency in my 5 gallon batches was 70% , efficency with ten gallon batchs was 83%, is this normal ? Just wondering , Thanks for your input.

I always seem to have a problem with chill haze, I have crash cooled before and still get chill haze. Would it help to cool the wort below 65 F. ? Would the colder temps kill the yeast ? I use an IC and get below 70 F. in less than 7 min. ( in the winter, tap water in Wy. is cold ) . All brews...

I have a 5gal. batch of Honey Wheat in the fermenter now that I'm going to save for a trip in late August, Ill be bottling this beer. How do I store it till then? Box it and put in my basement or does it need to go in the fridge?

Does corn sugar go bad ? I was given some corn sugar that is 4 years old at least. Shoud I use it or toss it out?
