My local water store has these nice square 3 gallon water bottles at $10 bucks each. Want to use them for fermentation instead of the 25 dollar better bottles. I plan to get 10 of them to do mixed culture fermentation experiments. They are basically the same material as sparkletts water...

question on my kettle sour, fermenting with the lacto

thanks for the input. I figures that's probably the culprit. I did boil for 5-10 minutes and cool before pitching lacto. I know that's not traditional for kettle sour but I did read some beginners guide to do that.

What happened to The Great HBT Stogie Thread

Cohibas def seem to be the most sought after of the regular production brands/cigars. Those prices and availability of the behikes is astronomical. Mainly due to supply issues of the media tiempo leaf inside. But even other vitolas are harder to get now than before, even in Cuba. As...

just smoke and enjoy.:) there are all different levels of fakes, from crappy ones with crappy tobacco and bands. To ones that use real Cuban tobacco and the actual bands in some of the top cigar shops in cuba. The only real way to tell on the good fakes is to smoke em.

6 midgets is right, for cuban punch, fast draws and getting the cigar too hot will cause harshness. Or taking in draws that are too fast, especially for thinner ring gauge cigars. Not an issue of aging For NC punch, well that's just probably the tobacco, lol.
