Finally got home to defuse the porch bomb my girlfriend moved into the garage. Bigfish713 hooked me up and his pampers inside the packaging is a novel technique to avoid leakage that others should adopt. Founders: KBS (breakfast stout) Rivertown: BA Old Sour Cherry Porter Jolley Pumpkin: La...

It's maddening that all the beer you sent is spending the weekend in a delivery truck a couple of miles away from where I'm house-sitting now. I bet FexEx has good fences and security guards, guess I can't just go help myself. I wont be home to get it until Tue. or Wed.

I've got the tracking number and the timing couldn't be better since I'm currently out of town. It will also be nice to surprise my girlfriend's housemate with some cool Ohio beers that probably weren't being brewed when she left home.

I didn't look that far up the thread but I don't have any objections.

Bigfish713 has my address. Anybody have issues with his low post count? He's been here a decade and got the thread going again so I'm inclined to bend the rules and accept the grant.

My girlfriend's beer loving housemate from Ohio would love it if I got some Ohio beers to share. There wasn't much good beer when she moved away and she hasn't visited for a long time. Send a PM and we'll get everything taken care of.

    Bray's One Month Mead

I've got a handful bottles left that are three years old (crown caps, would have waxed them if I'd expected to keep them so long) that have been tasty.

Did the spouse already lay claim to the chocolate in the package? If not look through the packing materials before discarding them. The Field to Ferment beers are (in order of brewing) wet hop Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra. The Nectar Berry Saison has been cellered for about a year now but...

Jerbrew should have a nice package waiting on his porch too.

Dropped off a package for jerbrew this afternoon before a schedule pickup, I'm a bit annoyed that the tracking isn't active yet since I was hoping to have it in his hands to enjoy over the weekend. Managed to include a 2016 GABF gold medal winner without even leaving the neighborhood.

I sent a PM and am nearly done shopping since the beer fridge is pretty full right now.

    Local Only Trade (LOT)

Haven't been trading or on HBT much lately but I've been drinking some local fresh hop beers that are too good not to share and are packaged well. Might even be able to kick in something nice from a barrel if the powers that be will work with me and I see some local favorites got GABF medals...

    No accessible pipes

As others have mentioned it's really easy to route 1/2" pex supply lines, why do anything else. There are plenty of sanitary sump options, for example Sani-Flow makes self contained units that will easily pump against 10' of head.

    Transporting Raw Cider

The cider producer that frequents my farmer's market prefers to deal with corney kegs if he is handling them. When he is pressing you can give him an empty keg one week and pick it up the next week without driving out of town to his orchard.

    Bachelor Party Ideas

If your crowd likes to turn money into smoke and noise have you considered a trip to a range that offers sporting clays? Might be combined into an expedition that includes an overnight stay and other activities.

    Smallest co2 regulator

Odds are that it uses 1/4" NPT (probably left hand thread though) ports. If you don't want to use a paintball tank unscrew that fitting and install a commodity CGA-320 fitting for your CO2 tank.

    Smallest co2 regulator

This is tiny but there's no way I'd pay $150 for it. If I wanted one I'd be looking through pneumatic equipment catalogs until I found it at a more reasonable price.

Is lower gravity beer first always a must when reusing yeast?

I routinely re-pitch a particular ale yeast between 12%-14% mead batches without much thought. You'll have enough yeast to be over-pitching. Odds are it will be fine if you practiced decent sanitation and the first batch wasn't contaminated.

    1.75 gallon kegging system question

I've got the 2.5 gallon size of that keg, it's made in China and the machining isn't beautiful but it works fine. It lives in a spare fridge with a 5# CO2 tank and I dispense with a picnic tap. If you are able to get paintball tanks conveniently refilled you might prefer dispensing with them...
