i've been looking and haven't found hardly any info on an apple ale besides brendano's graff but i'm looking for something closer to a beer with apple flavor instead of a cider i've come up with a 50/50 cider and amber recipe any thoughts appreciated.

this was a 5.5 gallon batch at 78% efficiency og 1.050 fg 1.011 its still carbing now but warm and flat it has a great fresh lemon flavor with a touch of sweetness from the orange

all grain equipment like a mash tun and grain mill
then there are always extra fermenters, hops, extract, and grain

go with pure o2 there is no real risk of over oxygenation as the o2 is used up in the first day or so and an air pump can never give you optimal o2 concentrations
there are also o2 injection calculators out there you can use
i brew on my electric stove top and all i do is bring it to boil on high and then turn it down to the lowest setting that'll maintain a boil same as you would with gas
