A break from all the brew stand & keeper builds - Homemade Margarita Machine.

For those who find this mix may be a little too sweet for their taste or if you are in a hurry to carbonate, toss in about one to 1.5 quarts of cheap yellow fizzy beer. Works wonders and keeps the alcohol content up. Also on the "triple sec"... look for some top shelf orange liqueur that...

Hmmm... Finally drained some kegs and went to put a new beer on tap and was thinking that when you select the beer from "My Beers" it would pull the vital stats on that beer when your tap a keg. Is it correct that we type all the stats each time we tap a keg? SRM, IBU, OG, FG....?

    Quick question about control panels

If you have a good source of compressed air a NIBBLER http://www.harborfreight.com/16-gauge-air-nibbler-96661.html works great. You drill a hole and drop this puppy in and go to Town.

    Burton Union

Below is a pic to further the conversation. As to a 3 hole cap, I'd suggest custom drilling a blank stopper: hole #1 raking cane; hole #2 thermo well; hole #3 return from collection vessel. http://byo.com/stories/item/351-build-a-burton-union-system-projects That was the 2nd hit on Google...

I had the exact same issue. In the end it was no big deal but unless you are comfortable with a Linux command line interface, I suggest you print out the instructions from Raspberry Pi and literally check off each step after success.

FOB's (foam on beer) detector. Ideas wanted.

If I read this correctly you really don't need any detector, just some patience. As you push beer, carbonated or not, from one closed vessel to another with compressed gas the flow is only going to occur between the vessels when the receiving vessel has lower pressure than the contributing...

    Is this pump too much?

Good choice. It will work fine. We use a large irrigation pump that has even greater capacity and it runs our CIP head like the dickens. Make sure to add a second tube coming down off your wash arm so that air can vent into the vessel you are washing. Especially when cleaning carboys the...

I have been working through the install of the noip client. I have it loaded on my Raspberry Pints. I am having trouble configuring it: Every time I run the make install command, it runs and I am prompted for my user name then my password. I enter them, it runs, then returns "No hosts...

Ahhh...I did miss that link! I will read. I know I didn't need to buy a domain, but for $11 BrickhouseTapList.com was way better that the alternatives! Plus the free service looked like you have the domain for 30 days and had to renew. For $11 I got it for the year! Yup...they upsold me...

I get an error running "sudo apt-get install noip2" stating "unable to locate package noip2" so I looked at the Raspberry Pi group I see this: "The download files for no-ip are only suitable for x86. ... There is a good chance that this program is not available yet for ARM processors, so...

Perfect. I liked the why's and commentary in addition to the hows! So, it's just three steps: 1) Get a URL through a free service that is dynamic 2) Set up Port Forwarding on my router and restrict the port(s) and protocols to just those needed for viewing Raspberry Pints (much like...

Thadius- Back in the initial thread as you gauged interest in this project from us you shared this link: http://thadius856.servebeer.com/ so that we could see your live Raspberry Pi running Raspberry Pints. Can you or someone here lay out the additional steps necessary for others to copy...
