No fizz in my Cider

Can anyone help please.

Finished brewing my first Cider from a kit, last week and followed the instructions to the letter.

I have opened the first bottle and it has very little fizz. Does this come with time or do i need to add something

It might take a few weeks for your cider to carbonate, just be patient.
