Fresh hops question?

I'm using some home grown cascade in an IPA tomorrow and want to know if I can pull the hops after the boil as I want to dump this in a carboy an a previous yeast cake.

I use a hop spider when using leaf hops and always pull my hops after the boil. I use muslin bags with a handful of marbles when dry hopping. Marbles help submerge the bags.
