I’m not concerned with what goes on the fermenter. I’m switching to BIAB in my Robobrew to keep grain out of the BOIL. I don’t want tannins or astringency from the grain to affect taste.

Just found out something huge the other day: 3 pin-lock kegs (the shorter, fatter ones) WILL fit in this kegerator! I’m overjoyed, since I just grabbed 4 pin-lock kegs (already converted to ball) for $20 each.

I have not seen that as a “common problem,” and I’ve been on the Robobrew FB group everyday for the last 5 months. I have version 2.1 (or 2.5, whatever you wanna call the second batch of v2 models) and have had no issues with boiling. Works even better with the Robojacket on — very vigorous...

I like my Robobrew, but I still get too much loose grain in my boils. I've just ordered a couple of BIABs from Wilser and I'm going to stop using the center pipe and the top screen altogether, and just use the BIAB. I'll report back my results.

Actually, you were replying to me. But what I'm trying to explain is, that is not the water report any brewer would be looking for. It's of no help for building water profiles for brewing. For brewing you need to know the pH, as well as the Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Sulfate, Chloride, and...
