From what I've read, this seems to be close to the appropriate RPM and torque.

If I understand the ad correctly the output RPM would be in the low 40's. That's pretty slow. In fact, it's less than a 1/3 of the speed of my mill (150).

Too slow.

I use an old ventilation fan motor running on 120V with a small pulley to a large pulley on the old Glatt malt mill.

I'm not s fan of using sheaves for speed reduction. For me it is a safety issue.
I did a considerable amount of research & settled on the reduction geared motor from All American Ale Works. It's not a cheap alternative but it is high quality & a real beast. I like the all American Ale Works motor, but I am not clear on the wiring to the switch. Can you post a wiring diagram for a non electrical person?

Decided to go with an HF drill instead. I've seen both of these models pop up on HBT. Any real benefit over the more expensive one besides the lower RPM?
