I have used this yeast for Tibers kolsch and it makes a fantastic brew. I've noticed that the yeast settlement in the bottles and the yeast I've harvested. takes on a grayish dark color. My starter jars, this dark 'cloud' layer is just on the top. I'm getting ready to brew again and wondering if this is common for this strain? From the bottle, I pick up no off flavor anything.
