Hello All!
I am brewing a beer today with leftover ingredients:
50 % American 2 row
25 % Vienna malt
25% Red Wheat
2 or 3 ounces Cascade hops
Nottingham yeast

What category would this fall under? Blonde? Wheat? Pale Ale? Just curious what to call it, thanks.

I just Googled and wheat beers in Bavaria have 60-70% wheat, US are as low as 40 to 50% so I would not call it a Wheat. The Red Wheat may give some color so maybe not a Blonde. That leaves Pale ale.

Call it BEER

Without seeing the calculated specs I'd guess it will drink more like a blonde. Depending on the AA of the cascade I don't think you'll be able to hit the IBU range for a pale ale and still get enough hop character. Plus it's not unusual to use a fair amount of wheat in a blonde. Red wheat is not actually red, it's like 2.5-3L.

A lot depends on ABV and when you add those hops but I threw all the ingredients into BrewToad and got everything (except SRM) to fall within Pale Ale specs.
