I have an older Raspberry Pi 2 B and would like to use Tilt Pi on it to monitor fermentation. This model doesn't have built in wifi and I did have a wifi dongle but it crapped out. Is there anyway to hardwire it and still be able to set it up to send data to BrewersFriend and access it from my phone?

I have an ethernet switch in the same room as my fermentor so it would be a nice stable setup if I could do that.

I don't think it really cares if it's wifi or hardwired ethernet... I haven't used their custom image, but I don't believe it actually cares much. You may have to manually setup the eth0 interface if it's not defaulted to "dhcp".
