I'm going to brew one more light lager and wasncurious if anyone has any thoughts on using warrior for buttering and hallertau for flavoring. I basically want to use the similar grain bill I used for a munch Helles but use eithe an American lager or pilsner yeast. I need to get one more batch through before I brew my octoberfest.

Thanks

i love warrior hops. so i say go for it. I was always told in terms of bittering you can really use whatever you want. For example a lil' bit of a a high AA% hop or a lot of a low AA% hop.

Warrior is a very good neutral bittering hop. I'd compare it to a super-charged Northern Brewer. I've used it in light lagers, pale ales, stouts, and Belgians for bittering and it doesn't contribute any detectable flavors that you might get from bittering with a hop like Simcoe.
