So close to my first all grain batch! Took a hard look at my stainless king cooker burner and stand, I am not sure I feel comfortable with that much boiling weight on that flimsy of stand. I ain't scared of nothin'... But 7 gallons of bubbling burn ward do give me pause! Any suggestions out there, how does the sq14 stack up? What thermometers are reccomended? Is the thermapen durable enough to double duty in the kitchen and on the grill. I know this is a lot of questions, but I have an empty tap that I will only fill with all grain and I am getting thirsty.
Thanks,
Jim

I cut the legs off mine and beefed it up with some one inch tubing, much better than those flimsy metal legs they come with
