I'd bought a pH meter before my hiatus in 2013, but somehow I can't find it now--I think it was some model of Milwaukee though. Assuming a budget of about $100 (though I'd naturally be happy to pay less if extra cost wouldn't buy me anything useful), what would be a good choice in this field? I've seen references to the MW102, it seems available, and within budget (or close enough)--should I even bother looking elsewhere?

I recommend MW101 or MW102. Excellent bang for the buck.

Man, that was fast--thanks. Amazon has both, but the Apera is about $40 less--and they say they can get it to me by Friday, which is handy if I'm going to brew Saturday.

fwiw, I have pH meters from Hanna (98128), Hach (Pocket Pro Plus) and Apera (PH60 Premium). The Apera is the most reliable, with the least expensive sensor replacement cost...

Cheers!
