2 IPA
Boil 2.0 gallons water in brew pot.
12 oz. 10* crystal malt-steep 1/2 gallon @150* for 30 min. Sparge with 1/2 gallon @150* into brew pot.
Bring to boil and add
3.5 lbs. pilsen light DME
4 oz. maltodextrin
1oz. Simcoe
Boil for 45 min.
Then add
1 oz. Summit
1 tsp. irish moss for 15 min.
Then add
1/2 oz. Nugget for 1 min.
Turn off boil/flame out and add 3.5 pilsen light DME. Stir until dissolved. Add 2 gallons cold water to brew pot. Transfer to primary fermenter. Pitch yeast WLP001 When temp reaches 68* F or below.
After 10 days add 1/2 oz. Nugget (dry hop).
Bottle with 1.25 cups pilsen light DME to 2 cups boiled water. Add to bottling bucket.
Bottle minimum 2 weeks
