Hopefully they continue winning again, SWMBO and I are going tomorrow night. They better beat the Twins, the Twins have a guy named Boof Bonser pitching, sounds like a half-assed attempt at a porn star name.

I'll be there tonight too, looking for the second win of a long streak!

(Edit: And it's Paul Molitor Bobblehead night. My cousin married Mollie's cousin, which makes me...well, absolutely nothing :)

Hey, if you get more bobbleheads than you need, I'll buy one off ya. PM me if interested.:)

Oh, and BTW I used to work with Jim Gantners ex-sister-in-law, so that also makes me, well absolutely nothing. Oh, and I played bar-league softball against his brothers for years, so, still nothing:eek:

 DAMMIT DUDE!!! Cancel that damned subscription or I'm coming out there and putting a bunch of bullet holes in that new big-screen of yours!!!!

Well he's here.... http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=5/24/2007&id=24033

We can say good bye to a .218 ave at third base. We now have an infield that everyone is under the age of 26.

Not bad to be young. I worry about when their contracts run out though. Hardy is up at the end of this year (personal interest, I know his parents and uncle). Any pulse on if they want to keep him from the fan base? I know his mom doesn't necessarily want him to run to the highest $ but paying your worth is another thing.

Your brewers are coming to my house now.........going to be a good series. Good luck shutting down the tiger's bats! If you're lucky we'll only take 2 of 3 .........

1st Tigers No Hitter since 1984 baby(1st home no no since 1952!)!!! Thats my boy Verlander!!! Huge fantasy points for me!!

What an awesome night!!! Where you at Milwaukee??

Yep, Verlander pitched a dandy. Not to take anything away from him, but the way the Crew is playing, my 8-year-old could no-hit them.

I didnt get home til the 6th inning....I didnt even realize it was a no no til the 8th I think....Havent been watchin the brewers much, but he did have some nasty stuff tonight. Too bad Zumaya is on the DL.....that guy is awesome to watch pitch if you havent seen him much....hes our set up guy who throws like 104.

Looks like Sup did alright.....holding the Tigers to 4 runs isnt too bad the way they have been hitting the ball lately.

GL tomorrow

Im tellin you......I wouldnt blame it on their line up....Verlanders stuff was awesome last night! He was still hittin 101 in the 9th.

Yep...our damn bullpen blew it again.....our ace setup man is on the DL. Good game though.....I figured this would be a good series to watch.

Uhm Francisco, aren't you spose'd to be closing now?

9th inning
------------
6-3
6-4
6-5
------------
Save - close one

Yeah...good series guys......We had the opportunity last night but couldnt come through......Maybe we'll meet again in the WS. Brewers are one of my fav. Nat. teams, unless they're playin the tigers.

I'll go on record to say that was a HUGE series win for the crew. They came in against a red hot Tigers team, got embarrassed on the first night, and then scrapped for 2 wins. We'll look at these last 2 games in September and say "Remember that series in Detroit that turned the season around?"

I know 2 games in a 162 game schedule don't really mean much--but this just might.

I don't care what anyone says about it being early, whatever. Every game is huge. How many teams have missed playoffs over the years because of one game? Anyone that says that early games don't mean much is full of prunes. Go Crew!

So, about 40% into the season. Slump seems to be broken. History (last 20 years) has stated strong in the beginning and then crash. Pulling back up is something not seen in years.

Think we got a streaky team or one that looks for real? Will you still have to pee your pants in the end?

Or have I just cursed them by simply adding this post!

Dunno tough to say. they certainly are looking a lot better right now. It's a good thing they are in the NOL Central or things wouldn't be nearly as rosy......

BTW I don't care if they win the WS for the nest ten years in a row- I'm not peeing my pants for nobody!

True but they pretty much busted out of their slump outside the NL Central which was nice to see. We're about the same age. We'll pee our pants for the brewers in about 30 years (I didn't sign up either).

LOL yeah when that starts happening the Crew will be my excuse!!!!:ban:

Big game today...Old Lou has the lineup loaded up with righties against Dave Bush. Time for Bush to get off the schnied and have a dominant game.

This game takes the series!

Go Brew Crew!

Time for Yost to send Bush to the bullpen, but I'd be very pleasantly surprised if he actually did it........

Big talk from a 500 team that's still not sniffing distance from the top spot. Especially when you SHOULD have lost that first game too.

Here's how the Cubs rewarded Rami for his 2R blast:

Clean, but requires sound.

The Cubs have put together a nice run lately while the Brewers have slipped a little but this has been the easiest part of the Cubs and after the All Star break they go back to playing better teams.....well, better then some poor NL teams. I wouldn't go printing your World Series tickets just yet. Brewers need to pick it up!

The Chubs have been playing good baseball lately, unfortunately. the Brewers schedule gets a bit easier after the breat, except that they have quite a few raod games left and they are a terrible road team. I think the second half is going to be very interesting. It's certainly going to be close.

I tuned in to watch the Rockies play the Brewers and I guess the schedule was wrong. When I found the game I saw that they were playing the Cerveceros. Is this some new expansion teem that I've never heard about? :D
By the way, who ever they are they beat the Rockies 4-3. :(

Did you see me? I was near the third base line, watching the cerveceros. I waved at the camera. Anyway, another sold out game- it was great! Sorry, Rich! The Brewer's won 2 of the 3 this weekend.

(I'm in Milwaukee until Wednesday)

I was wondering who that HOT Cerveceros fan was waving at the camera. :rockin:
