Ok, I've been doing some research on possibly converting my spare keg into a Mash Tun, with the hopes of finding a standoff/false bottom big enough to get a heating element underneath to control Mash temperature; I would love to see pictures of your setups if anyone has anything similar!

  • Keg
  • False Bottom with 3-4" to the bottom of the keg, seals around the edges?
  • Outlet w/valve on the bottom-center of the keg
  • Pump to Recirculate to a Sparge head at the top
  • Electric Heating Element (~5500W)
  • PID / Controller for said Heating Element
