I'm Mike, been mashing and making spirits for close to a year and over that time have collected just about everything i need to start brewing so, here i am. I was told this is the site for me to be a part of.
I know the aggravation of non-researched noob questions so i try to research answers before asking but, as always, there's sooo much conflicting replies to posts, i will ask for clarification if i can't make a decision on said research.
I've got a hbs close to me and I've picked up an in house kit, their version of a bach, i believe
partial boil is the term for fresh gains with malt extract brews? (Still learning the new terminology)
Anyways it's for a 5 gallon batch that i have all the prep, cleaning and sanitation done just waiting on a few free hours to start this journey, hopefully this evening.
