I know there exists unconfirmed schematics on this forum for how many Pin-Lock kegs will fit into an un-collared GE 5.0 cubic feet freezer, but I'm interested in knowing if anyone has actually done this with 2 Pin-Lock kegs?

It looks like it will be tight, but probably possible.

I have a space consideration, so a 5.0 cubic feet freezer is my best option. In the future I will probably add a collar to it, and aim to fit in 3 Pin-Lock kegs, assuming that too would fit. I'd like to keep a #5 CO2 tank inside of it, if at all possible (which looks like that is 100% possible). I'm considering buying all Pin-Lock (Converted to Ball-Lock) kegs as they are much cheaper than used Ball-Lock, and easier to find. Thoughts?

Nobody ever responded to this post, so I was starting to think no one had ever done this before. I went ahead and I bought the GE 5 cf freezer (I found it for $160 at Walmart, and HomeDepot price matched it). I also bought 4 used Pin-lock (Ball-lock converted) Coke kegs (from cornykeg.com).

It's very tight, but they do fit! I have 5# Co2 tank as well, and it would easily fit on the floor with just 2 kegs. With a collar you could fit 3 Pin-lock kegs with the Co2 raised up to the shelf (but probably not 4 kegs unless you see something I don't).

I may go take another picture with the Co2 tank in there if there's any interest in knowing that. Also, if you have any ideas on fitting 4 kegs in there I could demo that too.

Happy kegging!

Here are some other photos with my flash on and the 5# Co2 tank moved around. There's also a photo where I took and stacked five 6-packs (you could fit six 6-packs, I just didn't have another one) on the shelf. The door closed perfectly. With this setup you could fit a lot of beer in there without having to build a collar (2 pin-lock kegs + 36 bottles + 5# Co2).

I have a similar Keezer and two Cornys fit fine, I don't think I can get a third keg in there and I have a 2x6 collar, don't forget to account for your regulator, hoses and shanks, you talking about a collar so I am assuming you maybe not be using a tower.ImageUploadedByHome Brew1392085619.960553.jpgImageUploadedByHome Brew1392085655.575786.jpg
