Freezing yeast- success!

For the last few weeks I've been following these instructions for freezing yeast:

And I'm here to report that it has worked very well. The process is simple, the yeast seems happy, takes up very little room in the freezer, and (according to the article) can go many months without feeding.

There is an additional day required to step up the starter, but that's no big deal to me.

Ive been doing this for a few months already and i wish i would have done it sooner, but go with an estimated 100m cells per vial(25ml yeast) so I only step it up once vs the 7ml yeast and having to set it up twice.
