This has been my little project over the last couple of months. I have listed all of the open breweries from Dallas, Fort Worth, and in-between, even the ones not open yet. And I also list all of their year round and seasonal beers, locations, and tour times. It was a lot of hard work but I am glad to finally publish it. Next step is to start releasing it every quarter updated with the seasonal beers for that season. Let me know what you think!

Wow Collin, that's fantastic! Very well done and much appreciated! I'm just east of Dallas. I'm amazed at the opening soon list!

I passed this off to several Dallas area drinkers that the response was unanimously "Way Cool"! I'm a little surprised that more north Texas folks have not commented. I don't look down here in the forum often, so possibly other don't either. Oh well. It's still a great resource.

What are your plans for keeping it updated as things change?

Thanks,
Travis

The idea is to keep up the seasonals for each quarter. So the next release would be for Winter, and then I'll just post all of the winter beers on the Seasonal section for each brewery.

I'm also going to add a page for all of the local beer festivals.

Damn, I wish I would have had this about 3 weeks ago. I was at a conference in the DFW area and was starting to think that craft beer hadn't made it there yet. Every place I went had the same crap.

Thanks for the map! Of those places I have only been to craft and growler (frequently!). My daughter went to Meddlesome Moth, and mentioned they have local craft beers, but I had no idea it would be on your top 11.

Nice job, again!

I think Meddlesome Moth has the best selection around for the for the more experienced beer person. It's a bit fancy though. I still need to make it over to Bird Cafe.

They're owned by the same guy who started the Flying Saucer chain.

The new Whole Foods opened in Highland Village yesterday, and their bar has a respectable 12 taps. Had Prairie Cherry Funk on tap, so got to try that out. Looking forward to seeing what they're able to rotate through. It's nice to have somewhere near my house to get good craft beer on draft!

They have a bar in the grocery? I went to one. Did not see that. Whole Paycheck is a pricey grocer, but I'll have to check out this bar thing.

Looks like Shannon Brewing is finally open!

Awesome resource! Thank you for putting in the effort, much appreciated. I have a new goal for the next 12 months, visit all the DFW breweries!

Yep, they are! Grand opening is this weekend but they have their taproom already open. I have their info already and they'll be in the Winter Edition.
