Will not completely settle in your fermentor even after three weeks, There will be some floaters that inevitably get into your bottles.

Next time they go in cheese cloth.

Grind them up with a pestle and morter before using.

They've always settled out for me. Be sure to cold crash for a couple of days and you should have no issues.

Same here, never a problem settling out. I use a coffee grinder on them.

I had hit them with a rolling pin. Obviously not crushed quite fine enough. This is how we learn.

Just to clarify I didn't crush at all. I was worried about getting pieces when transferring, so I just left them whole and dumped them in. They definitely floated, but cold crashing for a couple of days took care of that.
