Typo in the subject. Yeast is "Paul Arauner Kitzinger Champagner". Website is www.arauner.de
I highly recommend this yeast if you can get your hands on some. On the package, it even states "especially recommended for apfelwein at lower temperatures"...
We made a 5 litre batch with el-cheapo apple juice from Lidl, a little bit of extra sugar, and half a pack of this yeast. Drank it all exactly 7 days later - it was barely cloudy (looked like a golden pils), beyond good and we both got silly plastered while watching Indiana Jones. My wife, who has a long cider drinking career, said that it tastes better than most ciders you can get from the store (Kopparberg, Strongbow, Crowmoor, etc). She said that it tastes like Somersby.
No hangover, no stomach problems, nothing. We couldn't even tell it had alcohol in it from the taste and only noticed when we started slurring our speech after a few glasses.
