Can't add photos

I want to add some photos to my album but cant figure it out. I am going to MEDIA and then [Add Media]. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/media/add

I can select:
Add media to...

• A site category
• An album

Once here I select:
Upload type:

• Upload an image from your files

From here I don't get any list to add to, just a button at the bottom [Save Media]. If I hit that I get a message that it has been saved and takes me to my album, with no new photos.
