Beersmith 2 reverting to Trial

I purchased BS2 last February and have used it a lot.

Just now, on trying to launch the program, it's giving me the pop up saying that I'm in trial mode and have exceeded the free period.

In doing this, it's also creating a new BS2 program folder on my desktop.

The original folder in my programs directory is still there.

I am hesitant to try re-entering my activation code out of fear it will erase all of my saved recipe logs, etc.

Suggestions?

I've posted in the support forums at the BS site, but I'm not sure how much activity that forum sees, so posting here as well in case anyone has info that can help me.

Copy your original folder to a thumb drive and that way no matter what happens on your computer, you still have the data.

Got it sorted... I copied the original program folder and original documents folder, then went ahead and tried re-activating.

It worked, but put me into a fresh copy , without any of my saved info.

Realized that was because it was creating a new document folder on my desktop.

So I went into the BS settings and changed the doc's folder back to the original folder, and all seems to be back to normal.

No idea why it did this suddenly... weird... and hopefully it didn't mean I used up my 2nd computer install privilege by having to reactivate.
