Before anyone says it, no I am not naturally carbonating in growlers.
The Tap-a-Draft system, flawed though it is, is my vehicle of choice for taking homebrew on the road. Sometimes I fill the bottles from my keg and sometimes I naturally carbonate in the bottle. but either way, I need caps that actually work and the stock ones don't.
A couple of the folks that used to carry the system had a great metal cap with and integral silicon lip seal but I have not seen them at NB, Morebeer, Williams, etc for while and I need a few more. I buy them for about $.33 + almost $5 shipping on amazon but I want to see if the these "polyseal" would work just as well:

because I really do not want the performance of these:

...which work exactly as well as the stock TaD caps...not very.
