12 gallon Pyrex carboy - Berkley, MI

Please see my craigslist ad for a pic of the carboy. This is a genuine Pyrex brand carboy. It is thick and burly. Local pickup only please. Don't even want to imagine the horrible things that could happen to this in shipping. Asking $100 for it. Thanks.

Is it made from standard glass or Borosilicate glass?

I'm not sure. It's pretty thick glass and Pyrex branded is all I know. You know if there are any markings I could look for on the bottom to tell? I can check when I get home from work tonight.

heh yeah that was the original reason I bought it a year or so ago... then I never really made 10 gallon batches....

I could ship it...but it's big, heavy, and glass.... I'm not certain of how much that would cost...and you would probably want insurance on it...
