    Jerkey help

    I dont do any marinades or seasoning before I smoke. I just slice it thin and smoke at 180 until it is done. Take it off and put it in a paper bag with your favorite seasoning. Sea salt and cracked black pepper it the favorite around my house.

    For whole chickens I use 1/2 cup salt 1 1/2 cup sugar 2 bay leaves 4 tbsp garlic salt 1/4 cup of whatever rub I'm using 1 gallon water

    With my electric I can come home from work turn it on, thaw a couple chicken breasts and have them ready to eat by 6:30.     Do you want electric, charcoal, gas, or pellet fuel. I use charcoal and electric. I have a masterbuilt electric and a home made charcoal. I prefer the flavor of charcoal over electric but the convince and easy-to-use properties of the electric make it a good choice also.

    Anyone ever batch pasturize wine BEFORE bottling?

    I bottle mine, leave the cork out. Place the bottles in my sink and pour boiling water into the sink until the water level is 3/4 the way up the bottle.
