Harbor Freight Tools -- What works? and What doesn't?

I haven't had any issue with the tools I've gotten from here. Only power tools I have from there are 12 in sliding mire saw, random orbital sander, 4 1/2 grinder and multi function cutting tool but I have used and abused them all without problem. I recommended buying and abusing immediately...

    Kegerator conversion kit pricing

The price difference seems to be coming from the regulator, ones a Taprite and the other it probably a Chudnow. I cant say if your overpaying, I have been piecing mine together from craigslist for a little bit now, but you will need to fill the CO2 tank, and think about getting longer beer...

    bayou classic burnt paint

It would make sense to use high temp paint, but they don't. I have the sp10 and it works great, just burn the paint off before your first brew, I had an old pot that I filled up and put on it, seems to concentrate the heat and speed the process up.

    Ben's Keezer Build

Oh jeeze, I knew that I've read and drooled over your idea for a while now, sorry to ask! I cant wait to see how yours turns out, and thanks for your input on the shanks. I'll see what I can do, maybe build the collar so the front sticks out a little more to give them some extra room.

    Blood Orange Hefeweizen

Brewed this up 5 weeks ago, the pulled it out for sampling during my last brew day. A friend had never had home brew or seen the process before and, well, he loved it. Needless to say we drank too much of it and now I will have to do another on up soon!

    Ben's Keezer Build

I$ really interested on how this comes out! That is the freezer I was looking at, my only concern was catching the shanks on the inside with the kegs when pulling them out, how's it working for you?

Good deal on cornys, how many to pick up?

Thats true, they really are pretty small and weigh next to nothing when empty. I'm sure I'll eventually get more, but feel this is a good starting number

Good deal on cornys, how many to pick up?

Ok, so I picked 9 up, have room for 4 in the keezer that will be underway shortly, giving me 5 to condition in. I wanted more, but drive a Mazda3 and it was messing already, taking up precious space. Anyway, they are in great shape. A few scuffs, but no dents, and all Cornelius brand. Inside...

Good deal on cornys, how many to pick up?

I will check the condition of them out and pass his info along to you if want, he is a little north of Denver. Twice as many as I can hold in the keezer is a good idea, I guess I'll use that as a starting point

Good deal on cornys, how many to pick up?

I am hoping to get into kegging and found a great deal on some ball lock kegs. The guys I'm meeting tomorrow has 30 of them for sale for a good price, and I was wondering how many is a good starting number. I am looking for 5-10, (dont have the space to hold or time to fill 30+ like some of...

Using a corny to make a wet bar...

That is what I was thinking, putting it above the faucet to make it gravity fed, I guess I'll just have to experiment before I mount anything.

Using a corny to make a wet bar...

I like the idea using the RV pump. It would be easier than using a corny but may be kind of frustrating to have to pump it all the time. I only plan on using the sink for rinsing and to have drinking water in the bar area, not really for anything else (no high pressure needed). As far as gray...

Using a corny to make a wet bar...

I considered that, but I would then have to turn the pump on/off to use the sink, I was hoping a corny w/ some pressure would allow me to just open the faucet to get water and it should maintain its serving pressure

Using a corny to make a wet bar...

Just wondering if an idea like this would work? Or, would it just carbonate the water? I would like to set up a 'wet bar' but don't have the roughing for actually running the water. Also, I would use a 5 gallon deep rock type bottle to catch the drain water.
