Very much this. "but I flush it with sanitiser" is NOT cleaning. Take it apart, rinse it, brush it, run it through the dishwasher at 70º, store sanitised and reassemble just before use.

That's where most of the brain grease goes to yes :) Might upgrade from 1 to 5 gallons, but need the cooperation of SWMBO. #workinprogress :D

Made a list myself, but it included several darn good affordable beers :/ It would result in drinking just a few brands at double the price. BUT there's always another option, just needs some brain grease.

1 gallon recipes have the annoying habit of using small amounts of hop, around the accuracy of the scale itself. So specific recipes keeping that in mind are not so easy as "divide by x if the batch is x gallons".
