SS Brewtech Chronical - Completely Clogged

Subbing to this. I RARELY can get out dry hopped beer out of the racking port, even with prolonged cold crash and CO2.

    Need help for Denali DIPA

I tried Denali recently and while it definitely did have that pineapple thing going in the aroma, I got a lot more of the floral taste. I say go with something that will contrast like classic Simcoe or Amarillo, or play into the tropical and go Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic, etc. What kind of caramel...

Dry hop with orange peel? Ever try it?

I've done it once. With the orange juice and dry hop to boot. It was pretty good, but it was lacking something for me. Anyway: 2oz Zest 10oz OJ from the zested oranges 3 oz cascade DH

How many ounces of dry hop for an APA?

For a standard APA, I like to go for 3-4oz. However- if you want something special and/or especially aromatic like an IPA but at APA flavor levels (if that makes sense), I have thrown up to 8oz of dry hop (average 6, though). That's probably what many would say if past the point of...

    NE IPA without Citra Hops?

Amarillo/ Centennial/ Simcoe is an awesome combo. Not the only one that thinks so: http://www.alesoftheriverwards.com/2015/08/tired-hands-hophands-clone-revisted.html

    Imperial yeast A38 Juice

Nice! I will definitely be on the lookout for it from now on. The Heady Topper equivalent has never really worked out for me, regardless of manufacturer. Thanks for the info!

Any update on using this yeast and how it compares to LAIII? Would be great to get 200B cells out of the can.

    Deprecated's Garage Brewery

I will definitely second Pliny's recommendation of Cellarmaker. In my opinion- the best brewery in the country.

    Black IPA Hops

Yeah- I'd heard that too and when I made my only Black IPA, I nixed the idea and went all in with Chinook. Tasted like mint chocolate. Ended up throwing it away. I say go for it with the fruity hops, and adjust as needed.

    Black IPA Hops

Wookie Jack- probably the only beer in this style that I actually like uses Citra/Amarillo 50/50 and tosses in a big rye component into the grist. Pretty good combo! http://www.firestonebeer.com/beers/products/wookey-jack. and here's a semi-clone version...

FT: Cantillon Fou Foune ISO: Dark Lord or similar

Don't bite my head off- just trying to see what I can get. Came across a Fou Foune. I'm not a big lambic/sour fan so I thought I could leverage it for a Dark Lord or similar.
