    Bottle conditioning test

So I have brewed again for the first time in about 3 years. I have brewed an Alaskan Amber clone and it seems to have come out well. I have finally bottled and it tastes well in the flat/green form (24 days in fermenter). My OG was 1.062 and my FG was 1.018 (seems high to me but I tested days...

Anyone in AZ put a fermenting chamber in their garage?

I just got a new fridge and want to put the old one in the garage as a fermenting chamber. All I can find are results about freezing temperatures being bad on a fridge and since I'm in AZ we don't get those often. I'm more curious about our hot summers. The fridge still works great, we...

I have made an American light, amber ale, English pale bitter, american pale wheat, red ale, and I'm currently working on a hazelnut brown. I'm having issues with all my beers having around the same flavor profile. Yes I...

    Name your shortest fermented beer!

Ok... So I have seen the thread of the longest fermented beer. What about your shortest? Everyone gets inpatient. What's your shortest fermented beer and what did it taste like? Mine was Mr. beer and it turned out super sweet. I moved the keg around a lot during fermentation and it wasn't...

Co2 primers? How do you do it?

So I have been thinking a lot lately about adding my own co2 layer after adding yeast to my beer. Now I have personally never had a bad batch (knocking on wood) but I only have 5 beers under my belt. Now my question is, how do you guys add a co2 layer? I have been looking at whip cream makers...
