    Bottle conditioning test

UPDATE: So I have tried a couple of the beers, it will be 2 weeks bottle conditioning tomorrow. I tried one of the co2 prime with a full siphon line and I tried one of the co2 prime with an air gap in co2 line. This is what I found: Clarity on both are good and the head is about 1 inch when...

    Bottle conditioning test

Do you all think that the air gap in my hose could case oxidation issues in those beers? Maybe the air gap was full of CO2 dissipated from the beer itself?

    Bottle conditioning test

So I have brewed again for the first time in about 3 years. I have brewed an Alaskan Amber clone and it seems to have come out well. I have finally bottled and it tastes well in the flat/green form (24 days in fermenter). My OG was 1.062 and my FG was 1.018 (seems high to me but I tested days...

    Brew day is here!

Nice, I really remember my first brew day. I'm not as experienced as a lot of the other people on here but I gotta say.... striving for great brews is very addictive. It becomes a well balanced hobby. Good luck and keep brewing!

    MoreBeer.com - Always garbage shipping?

Tucson AZ here. I have ordered from Morebeer twice recently with the free shipping and both times I got my product in 2 days. Boxes are not dinged up and seem to be handled well. I really enjoy More beer and have not had any issues with any of my orders from them. I only wish they would vaccum...

    Too little priming sugar

So my question is at an average temp of 78' (I'm in AZ) for just the bottle conditioning, how much more sugar should I add per bottle. I know that tool that @myndflyte told me about but some sugars already got eaten. Do I reduce the amount of sugar added? Or just put full amount of sugar...

    Too little priming sugar

Cool ok. It will be three weeks tomorrow bottle carbing and I'm gonna let one sit in the fridge for a couple days then try it. If it has a small amount of carbonation should I reduce the amount of sugar added?

    Too little priming sugar

If I do need to recarb, how would I go about doing this? Carb tabs maybe? Or just keg and force carb? Any ideas?

    Too little priming sugar

Yes they are warm for the carbonation. Ok only for cold for the cold crash. Thank you for all your help!

    Too little priming sugar

So I have a pumpkin ale that I let ferment for 14 days and cold crash for 7 days. I bottled 2 weeks ago and there is just a slight hiss when I open a bottle. Now I know it can take a lot longer to bottle condition but here is my main question....... Since I was cold crashing the temp of the...

    Freon lines in my fridge

It definitely has an anti-condensation loop. The seal around the door gets warm. I tried to find blueprints and I can't either. I just really don't want to kill the fridge but at this point I can only use one side. I have the one side at around 63 and the freezer side is anywhere from 35 to 45 lol

    Freon lines in my fridge

I have a side by side fridge that I would like to dremel out some of the center wall so I get even temp on both sides so I can ferment on both. I'm worried that there are lines that run in the middle of the center wall. Any help?
