    New beer fridge/Kegerator project

Update Here are the two kegs and how they will fit. Again, my dip tubes are not bent inward, they go straight down and hug the side, so as long as I keep the out side down, I should have no trouble getting almost all of the beer out before sputter. One of these kegs is only about 1/4 full...

    New beer fridge/Kegerator project

The base structure is complete. It held me laying on it, so the 120 or so pounds of fridge, beer and everything should be no problem at all. Now to start drilling holes and mounting things. I have some 1/8th MDF that will go around it and will all be painted black. I tested the gas...

    New beer fridge/Kegerator project

I have been brewing about 8 months and am bending to the pressure of friends to keg. I live in a small townhouse and don't have room for a full size keezer with 4 taps and 5 gallon kegs. So I am doing small scale. I have a mini fridge I have been using for beer bottles but due to the adjustment...

    2.5 gallon keg

I'm looking for a used 2.5 gallon ball lock keg. I can find them new but I'm hoping someone out there bought one and then moved to 5 gallons kegs and has a 2.5 collecting dust that they would like to part with. :) Thanks!

I got a one gallon batch of Bomber Barley Wine from Northern brewer try. I also got a 1 gallon wheat beer kit and did them side by side. These were the second and third beers I have ever brewed. I got 1 gallon kits to learn on. My first was a 5 gallon hazelnut brown that my friend helped guide...

    Refractometer?

I picked up one from amazon for $29 shipped. The one with ATC on it. My friend looked at it and said it was the exact one he got from northern brewer for over $60 and I have used it three times now and it seems to work very well. Reporting gravities right where they should be. Although I have...

    Hello from northern Virginia

I've been attending HOWL(Homebrewers Of Western Louden) meetings because I have a couple of friends in that group that invited me. Is there a group of northern VA(Fairfax or PW) homebrewers that get together regularly?

    Hello from northern Virginia

Hello. I'm finally setting up an account here. The firearms board I frequent has a brewing section but it is very small with low traffic and a lot of people on there post here too. I also wind up coming here when I google search homebrew related things. I have been brewing for almost 2...
