Can anyone tell me how long I can store yeast slurry before I wash it. After racking my primary I put the yeast slurry in a 1 gallon jug, there is about 3"of beer still in top of it.

Can someone tell me why i am getting a earth taste from my brew, i dont know if it is coming from the hops or yeast. my last 3 brews i have just put the hops directly in to he boil in stead of in my hop bag, i dont know if that is my problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry for your loss i have had this happen to me a few time, i come out and 5 gallons all over floor not a nice feeling.

Is ti normal for fermenting to go for 2 day and stop first 2 days bubbling like crazy then no bubbling on 3 day little confused as it has to ho for 2 weeks before racking.
I brewed a batch of harp clone 24 hours ago, I am still not seeing any bubbles in the airlock, I followed the recipe to a tee and used the 2 choice yeast and followed the instruction on the package.
As its a lager l have it sitting around 54ºF.
